Chocolate coated Biscuits
Vegan Chocolate coated biscuits
Everyone loves Chocolate, in-fact some of my closest friends relate to the old saying “Other things are just food. But chocolate’s chocolate.” I’m not a Chocoholic but I do have occasional Dark-Chocolate cravings 🙂
This recipe is Quick and Easy, and therefore –
A VEGAN MUST-TRY!!!
Vegan Chocolate Coated Biscuits
Ingredients:
16 plain biscuits/sweet crackers
50g / 1.75oz dark chocolate
2 tbsp. whole sesame tahini
3/4 tsp. olive oil
16 (or more) pecans/raisins
16 plain biscuits/sweet crackers
50g / 1.75oz dark chocolate
2 tbsp. whole sesame tahini
3/4 tsp. olive oil
16 (or more) pecans/raisins
Method
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl.*
- Add the tahini & olive oil and mix well.
- Spread the chocolate mixture on the biscuits and place pecan/raisins on top.
- Let the biscuits cool in the fridge for an hour.
Eat. Eat. Eat.
*I used the microwave: 10-20 sec. pulses, then stir and back in the microwave and so on, until it melts. Or use Bain-marie method – Fill a saucepan with water and bring to a simmer. Place a heatproof bowl on top of the saucepan, add the chocolate and stir until it melts.
So lovely and yummy looking!!
