Snowy Date Truffles – Raw Vegan Gluten-free
How about a Dessert that is both Delicious and Nutritious?
No Snow in Tel-Aviv, which is exactly why I had no other option but making Snowy Date Truffles!
These sweet little truffles are always a terrific snack or dessert, and they are incredibly HEALTHY.
The recipe is basically a list of ingredients, So just have fun with it. Try different ratios of the elements, Try NEW ingredients, such as Goji berries, Maca powder, Carob powder, Nuts, Pecans and whatever comes to mind 🙂 – It’ll be yummy – You have my word for it!
Snowy Date Truffles
Ingredients:
1/2 kg (1.1 pound) Dates , pitted
Almond powder
Coconut flakes
Vanilla (straight from the pod)
raw Tahini
Cacao nibs
Method:
1. Simply combine and mix everything.
2. Form the mixture into little balls.
3. Roll each ball in coconut powder/flakes & Almond powder.

These look so yummy and I cannot wait to try them… but could i use vanilla essence and cocoa powder instead?
Thank you Deborah! Yes, You can definitely use vanilla essence (I’d use about one or two drops) and cocoa powder. It’ll still be delicious 😀
