These mini bars may not be the most attractive of all foods, but they sure are delicious. So so delicious.

What you’ll need

80-100g (10 round cakes) rice cakes

6 tbsp. tahini

1/2 cup date syrup

6 tbsp. water

1 tbsp. sesame seeds

Method

Preheat oven to 300ºf  (150ºc)

  1. Put everything except the rice cakes in a medium bowl and mix well.
  2. Break the rice cakes into bite size chunks. Dip and coat each chunk in the sweet tahini mixture.
  3. Put a baking sheet in a baking pan and Place mini bars on a baking sheet and put in the oven. After 10 minutes flip the mini bars and bake for 10 more minutes.

Remove from oven and cool for 10-15 minutes on the hot baking sheet.
