TWO MINUTES Perfect Chocolaty Vegan Banana Pops
Recipe for 6 frozen coated bananas
Ingredients
3 Bananas, cut each one in half
6 Popsicle sticks –or- 3 chopsticks broken in half
200 g vegan Dark chocolate
2 tsp. Coconut oil
Toppings – Go crazy and get creative with the toppings
Crushed pistachios, Macadamia nuts, Hazelnuts, Pecans
Chopped Goji berries
Cacao nibs
Halva
((My toppings and combinations are: chopped gojiberries and crushed macadamia nuts, halva and cocoa nibs, and crushed pistachios))
Directions
Pre-freezing the pops: Insert a popsicle-stick into each half of the bananas. Place on a tray or plate and put in freezer for 2-3 hours.
1. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a heatproof bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water.
2. Ok, now take the frozen bananas out of the freezer and start coating with chocolate – Dip each frozen banana into the chocolate, and immediately sprinkle or roll in the toppings.
That’s it! Your popsicles are good to go!
You can store these bad boys in your freezer, in a sealed container for over a week.
